Dear Parents/Caregivers, Panui 2 Term 3, 2018
Welcome back to school for Term 3 2018 for the late comers and the new comers. Our kura is quietly humming along and everything is looking good while the children are partaking in some wonderful activities and engaged in good quality learning.
I need to put out a reminder for the regulars of our bell times especially the start of school.
8.45 am School commences
10.45am Morning Tea
2.45pm School finishes and clear school grounds for staff meetings
It is great to see the majority of the students turning up on time and starting early without disrupting the class.
Our dental technicians have completed their visit and have been pleasantly surprised by the way the children conduct themselves when coming to and from the Dental van. Ka mau te wehi nga tamariki o te kura nei!
We have completed the planning stages of our Swimming programme and a ready to roll. In Weeks 9 and 10 of this term we are travelling to Cannons Creek Swimming Pool. The children can’t wait to start.
The cost for 2 wks swimming (and transportation) is:
$18 for one child
$24 for two children
$30 for three or more children All payments to the office please.
Natone Park School will be starting our Reading to programme which will run from 3-4pm on Tuesday next week. If you are interested in seeing what things you can do at home to help your child with reading please contact the school and register. There will only be 10 places.
Pukerau and Rangituhi are registered to start their soccer competition tomorrow which will be held at
The teachers will be striking on Wednesday August 15, 2018. Please ensure you have made plans for your children as the school will be shut.
We will be starting our survey for Natone Park School starting next week and this will end the next week. Please take a little time to fill it out and return to the office.
DID YOU KNOW?…
We cook lunch for our students at Natone Park School every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Due to our roll growth we are looking for parent support to assist our preparation for cooking. If you are available to help between 11.30 and 12.30 please make contact asap.
