It is with regret that I announce Whaea Lyn, our Office Manager, will be leaving our school to take up a position elsewhere. Her last day at Natone Park School will be Friday 2nd June. We wish her well on her endeavours and hope that she comes back to visit.
We are celebrating Samoan Language Week. Please come along to join in. We are going to go for a parade walk, shared kai, singing, dancing, language activities and reading book. Watch the website to see what we are doing to pick a day/s to come.
We have shocking absenteeism, lateness and late pick ups after school. Parents please take responsibility. The staff need your support. The bells go at 8.45am and 2.45pm.
SWIS and Health Nurse
We have Social Workers in School and a Community Nurse who are able to help out with our whanau. If you need to talk to either Whaea Ria, the Social Worker or the Nurse for advice please make an appointment at the school office.
Ko Wai Au
Every Thursday afternoon the senior students from Y4-8 participate in activities to help with conflict resolution, relationship building and teamwork activities. They are thoroughly enjoying working with the youth workers who show them a variety of ways to enjoy quality time and discussions with one another.
Our NPS team is improving each time they take the court. The players take up the challenges set by the other competitors and even set the standards with their quality play. Unfortunately they went down to Postgate School but battled very well against the odds. It would be great to see more people there to support our players.
Our NPS Netball team played against Adventure Stars and battled right to the end. They lost 13-7. We have some outstanding players and a team full of supportive members. Thank you to all the supporters who came to the game.
We will advise the children what time the game is as soon as we hear.
Please be reminded that there is no game on Queens Birthday weekend.
The students had a bye on Tuesday and are looking forward to their game this week at ………….
This was held today and some of our children were presented with some impressive awards. It is great to see the parents and whanau who come along to pick up their children early to see what happens during this time.
