Tēnā rā tātou katoa i roto i ngā āhuatanga o te wā

Kua tae te wā ka huri te tauihu o tōku waka ki Te Tairawhiti, a, ka hoki au i te kainga.    After two years here at Natone Park School, it is now time for me to return home to take up a Principal position at Te Kura o Te Muriwai.   It is a small rural school, south of Gisborne and the school that I attended as a child.   I am grateful for the opportunity to meet you all and to get to know your tamariki mokopuna.   Thank you to all the staff who have worked with me to help bring about the positive changes that we now enjoy, and who will continue to lead our school forward with, and for,  our young leaders of tomorrow.    To all the many agencies and friends  that work with our school, thank you for your desire to help make our school a great place to teach and learn. The learning journey continues.  It takes a whānau ………….   Noho ora mai tātou katoa i roto  ngā parirau o Te Kaitieki.

Our roll has grown to 104 with more new entrants expected in term 2!  Ka mau kē te wehi. Some of our Year 3 students have been redistributed between Rangituhi and Whitireia to help ease the congestion.  We are also in the process of appointing teacher aides.

Thank you for sending back the signed forms – over 90% were returned.   We will be able to send you a summary of the comments when they have all been analysed.  Developing Mathematical Inquiry Communities | Education Counts
